WhalerRealty.com - Honolulu International Airport named the No. 1 most punctual airport . . .
July 12, 2008 | Honolulu International Airport was named the No. 1 most punctual airport by Forbes Traveler Magazine. The magazine noted the airport is served by the nation's most punctual carrier, Hawaiian Airlines.
Forbes said uncongested airspace and sunny skies also had a positive effect on the airport's 83.7 percent on-time arrival rate and 84.9 percent on-time departure rate for the first five months of 2008.
Kahului was named the nation's second most punctual airport, down from first place last year. It has an on-time performance rate of 84.2 percent.
