Vacation-Maui.com - The other side of West Maui.
August 05, 2008 | Last week we explored the leeward side of West Maui via the Pali Trail. This week we travel over to the windward site, and experience the cooler, wetter side of Maui. The Waihee Ridge Trail is almost directly opposite the Pali Trail. From Kahekili Highway (340) turn up Maluhia Road. The drive from your Kaanapali vacation condo, or Lahaina vacation home will be a bit longer, but still only about an hour away.
