West Maui Experiencing Tremendous Growth

Possibly the most talked about development, the renovation of the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua is basically complete. The cranes have finally been taken down, and the new additions are open for business. One of my favorite new additions is the new Merriman's restaurant at the old Bay Club site. Peter Merriman's delicious cuisine combine with a wonderful outlook over the pacific (with amazing sunset views!) to create an un-paralleled fine dining experience.
For the more outdoors-y types, the Kapalua Resort now has a nearly two mile long Zipline course; letting you enjoy a unique view of West Maui while floating just above the tress of the West Maui Mountains! In addition, a 360ft long bridge suspended above an 80ft high waterfall is nearing completion, while a zipline+chairlift "Zipperlifter" leisurely carries you from Zipline to Zipline!! Great fun for the whole family!
